The Devil to Pay

I've always been a big fan of American Civil War wargaming. It's a fascinating conflict, full of remarkable characters. Generals like Robert E. Lee, Stonewall Jackson and Ulysses S. Grant are well known, but there are so many other interesting personalities, from George B. McClellan and Ambrose Burnside to James Longstreet and Joseph E. Johnston.

One thing I've always missed in my collection is a good selection of generals on foot. Most are represented on horseback, and some officers are surprisingly difficult to find as miniatures at all.

So I decided to create the figures I'd like to have in my own collection: commanders on foot, with poses that reflect their personalities, including both the famous names and those who don't always get the attention they deserve.
